"Moves Like Jagger" is a song by American band Maroon 5 featuring pop singer Christina Aguilera. It was released for digital download on June 21, 2011 in conjunction with a live performance of the song on The Voice the same day. "Moves Like Jagger" was written by Adam Levine, Benjamin Levin, Ammar Malik and Shellback, and was produced by Benny Blanco.

"Moves Like Jagger" was later included on a re-release of the band's third studio album, Hands All Over (2011). The song's lyrics refer to a male protagonist's ability to impress a female with his dance moves, of which he compares to those of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

"Moves Like Jagger" debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, therefore making it the band's first top-ten single since "Makes Me Wonder" (2007), and Aguilera's first top-ten since "Keeps Gettin' Better" (2008). Christina Aguilera signed a letter from PETA to the South Korean government asking that the country stop its alleged killing of dogs for food. During her 2007 tour she unknowingly wore a fur stole during the beginning of her tour, which designer Roberto Cavalli provided without informing Aguilera. After receiving a video from PETA Vice President Dan Mathews on the treatment of foxes, she replaced the stole with faux fur for the remainder of her tour. Aguilera was reportedly upset adding, "I only ever wear fake fur".

In 2010 Aguilera auctioned off tickets for her upcoming tour for Christie's A Bid to Save the Earth. Proceeds benefit nonprofit environmental groups Conservation International, Oceana, Natural Resources Defense Council, and The Central Park Conservancy.

In 2009, Variety confirmed that Christina Aguilera 'll be working in her 1rst feature film, a musical, titled Burlesque, which began shooting in November 2009. She 'll portray a small town girl who "finds love, family and success in a LA neo-burlesque club".

The film, distributed by Screen Gems, will be directed by actor and director Steve Antin who also wrote the script, which was revised by Susannah Grant. The film will co-star fellow singer Cher as the club's owner and headliner. The film will also feature Twilight star Cam Gigandet as her love interest, Stanley Tucci, and Kirsten Bell.

Christina Aguilera 'll contribute as a writer for the film's musical score and soundtrack which includes producers Danja and Tricky Stewart, and songwriters Claude Kelly and singer Sia. The majority of Stripped album was produced by Scott Storch and singer-songwriter Linda Perry who produced her more personal records. Rockwilder and singer Alicia Keys also contributed a track each. Upon initial release, Stripped album was very well-received by critics, although Christina Aguilera's vocals were overlooked as Christina Aguilera began to cultivate a more s*xually provocative image. After the release of the album, Christina Aguilera took part in photoshoots for magazines, many of these photographs featured her nade or semi-nade. The album's lead single, "Keeps Gettin' Better" was premiered at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and was her highest debut peaking at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.
